I recieved several calls from this company a couple of weeks ago, I refused to take those calls for about a week, but when they persisted I finally took one of their calls. They advised me that they had obtained my contact information from a drawing that I had entered at the Columbus Zoo. They advised me that I had won a free cruise with round trip airfare included for myself and one other person. They proceeded to ask lots of personal questions such as my marital status and both mine and my fiancee's annual income.
I was told that in order to schedule my cruise that I would need to come into their office for a meeting and that I would have to bring my fiance. I advised them that he works out of town and it's difficult for him to get to Columbus, but they insisted. I advised them that he had not entered the drawing with me and that if I were to go on a cruise it would likely be my mother whom I would take with me as my fiance does not enjoy travel. They then at that point advised me that it was their policy that if you were married, engaged or had a "significant other" that both must attend and that was the only person you could take with you on the cruise that you'd "won". I finally told them that I wasn't interested then and that they needed to remove me from their calling list.
I wondered at the time if I'd won a cruise for two why they insisted on a specific person to attend with me, after reading the related complaint about this company's deceptive and misleading practices I now see, they intended to sell other "vacations" and services, hence the inquiry into my fiancee's income. Their tactics lead me to believe that something was awry and I'm now glad that I didn't become further involved with this company.
