When you read the terms and conditions of summer bay holiday packages, it says although, the package is sold on a non refundable basis, summer bay resort policy offers the purchaser right to cancel his/her order (s) within 7 days from the date of purchase.
I tried to cancel immediately within the first hour but the guy on the phone derek couldn't do this, I called several times and the phone was hung up, other times I was told that I was not entitled to a refund at all, though they would give me 5 years in which to use the holiday package.
All sorts of attempts where made by employees at summer bay resorts customer care team to put me off making a cancellation.
I cancelled by email of which I send today and yesterday but have received no reply or confirmation that email has been received although I have help a copy of the one I sent with the time etc printed off.
I realised that I wasn't a lucky winner for that day, that everybody that phoned in was a lucky winner.
