My husband logged on to check our bank account online because he was having a hard time figuring out why our account wasn't balancing. He finally discovered why when he saw the unaurhtorized $198.00 that Summer Bay Resorts debited from our bank account!
He had gotten a call about week or so ago from a telemarketer pushing this vacation package and asked him if he'd like more information. He said "yes" just get to the person off the phone & was expecting to get a flyer or something in the mail. Wrong! Instead we got $198.00 stolen from our bank account! Never ONCE during his conversation with this salesperson did my husband agree to allow Summer Bay Resorts to debit $198.00 from our account but they did it anyway!
The kicker is that one of the "Terms and Conditions" of their vacation package is that you must be gainfully employed. My husband is a full-time student!
I only hope we can get our money back.
