On January 15th I signed up for information only with a Summer Winds Resort Services information booth.
On 18 January I was contacted by Summer Winds via phone. I was sold a 3 day and 2 night vacation package with perks for dinner, and entertainment. One of the requirements for me was that my annual income was $40,000.00 a year. I told them three seperate times I did not make $40,000.00 a year. All three times I was told not to worry about it. I let them have $139.00 from my account for the vacation package.
I later received a letter from them telling me how to set up my vacation. The letter also stated the requirements for me. The ones I was previously told not to worry about.
On November 17th I contacted Summer Winds to set up my vacation and was advised I could not do it as I was not qualified as per my not having an annual income of $40,000.00 a year.
I feel they lied to me and deceived me to get my money and had no intention of giving me the vacation promotion. Bait and con! They also told me they give no refunds. I have since talked to others who said they had similar experiences with them.
