I have had reasonable service from priceline in the past.
I was looking for a very cheap fare for a weekend in London because my mate had an extra ticket to a Rugby match.
I shopped around and became familiar with what the various airlines wanted and what the taxes and fees were.
I carefully read the T & C's on priceline and could not find anything that said they could charge me for fuel surcharges. BA's fuel surcharge is $214 for a transatlantic journey.
I made my bid assuming I would only be charged the ACTUAL taxes and fees, as I had done this before without trouble.
My cost ended up being 542.40 when BA's own website offered $ 475.59. Hardly a bargain. Unfortunately there is no way to separate this in the bidding process.
Trying to go through my cc company, priceline's customer service is a butch if worthless offshore idiots who can only repeat a script.
