The manager is saying that we owe them $200.00 but they will not show a receipt for this amount. We only owe them $80.00 This is only for two nights that we did not stay in the room. We have been to this facility numerous times and they will still not give us our personal belongings. They have also allowed my microwave to become stolen. They claimed that they knew nothing about this.
So, a month ago they told Law Enforcement, that if we do not pay them the $200.00 then they will put our things out to the road. So, we had a week from that time to pay them. Well a week has past, and we did not pay any money, and they did not put any of our items out to the street. So, from that we are assuming that they never will put it to the street.
They just have it stored at the motel in their storage shed. They just told the police that to scare us into giving them the money. They had no intentions whatsoever of putting our items out on the street. And a month has past from the last time that we talked to the police about them withholding our personal items. My husband did file an incident report at the police station about the missing microwave.
As of this day, we still have not collected what belonged to us at the motel's premises. This motel cannot be trusted because they are dishonest and they are trying to cheat us by getting more money out of us that we don't owe them. And they also removed all of our personal items out of the room. We were never able to get our things. They would not let us, no matter how much we asked. They had no mercy for us, and till this very day, they still don't.
What happened to my microwave, I may never know, but when we was away from that room, the room was broken into and someone stole the microwave. The manager has no knowledge about this. They claim that they don't know anything about it. The microwave was a Sunbeam microwave. It was white and medium sized. I really believe that if Law Enforcement investigates them, they will find many unlawful and illegal things that they are doing.
Our property was stolen, and so was anything else that got into the wrong persons hands. I would recommend anyone that is considering staying at a motel, to not choose this one. The management is very dishonest, and the way that they practice this facility is very unethical.
