Rip-off dishonest fraudulent billing took my money even though I followed all instructions to cancel

I recieved the package and ID card from the company. They told me I was going to get a 30 day free trial to use the card at gas stations or department stores and it would give me discounts. Yeah right! Everyone I took it to didn't know what it was.

I sen't the envelope and id card back using certified mail, I have proof they recieved it with my letter stating that I needed this cancelled and that they do not have authorization to take any money from me. I got a letter from my bank telling me that this company took $59.95 which caused me to overdraft, with a $20.00 fee.

I called to 1-888-824-7675 number attached to my bank account debit and the options were to cancel or activate your account. So I chose cancel. The automated system then said that I would be refunded in 24 hours. I called back to see if I could reach an actual person and did. They were extremely rude and told me that I had to write them in order to get a refund and that it could take 2 months to get it.

I told her that her company was a scam. I am a college student who makes very little money, they can just take your money right out of your bank account, when you did nothing but try it and send it back. This an absolute scam and I need my money back. All $80.00 of it. Sincerely hurt, Marnie Witthuhn
