I have 3 timeshares and for the most part had very good times when i use them, but festiva resorts have been nothing but trouble.
First they came off as an up and coming / ever growing timeshare with a family of resorts that could be used at no charge. I have found this to be very untrue. The multi -million dollar aquatic center that was to be built is a 20x40 pool with a roof over it.
The first time i used this particular room it was filty, the bed linen had burn holes in them, the bathroom was disgusting and the overall look of the area looked to need freshened up. I try to make complaints, but to no avail.
The second time i tried to rent to 1 bedroom unit to a friend. I was told that they could not use my golf package nor could they use my pass to the private beach.
I have called the home office numerous times to complain about the findings. I was told that i should'nt have been put it that building due to the fact that it was scheduled to be painted and cleaned up. This was also turned out to be a lie. A friend of mine from work also owns there and had a semiliar experience, but in a diffent building. They too were given the same story.
Now they have added more resorts to their family, but these are not offered to the owners.
I just don't want this one resort to tarnish people's memories of such a great location as the myrtle beach / murrells inlet areas.
Has anyone contacted the attorney generals office? Thanks and please help me to make this resort clean up their act or shut them down. I would rather lose money then have them ruin others experiences. Thank you again.
