We went to Fiesta Resorts with no intention of buying. After listening to the sales pitch we started to become interested, however we had a timeshare in Cancun. We could not afford two timeshares. They said that they would give us 5000$ for the property and all we had to do is sign a paper and the company that they had there would sell it off. They said once the paper was signed that they other company would own the timeshare in cancun.
They said that they had a Vip card that would give us prices well below travelocity and similar websites, even showed us some printed out comparisons. They said that they couldn't sell us the VIP card but they could sell us an off week with this low matinance fee pretty reasonable and we would get the VIP card with it. This sounded good and we were dumb enough to take them at their word. It has been a year and a half now and we still have both timeshares, the vip card does nothing different than the other travel web sites that cost nothing to use and the maintance fee has gone up 100$ in the first year. According to Fiesta there is nothing that they can do and told me that they can not return my money even though they have not followed through on anything that they said they would do. Buyers beware, these people are out to make money and do not care what they have to say to get it. Honestesty is not a quality that they value and it is unfortunate that they feel money is more important that customer satisfaction and characte
