I purchased a vacation package through Wyndham Resorts to be given as a gift to my wife for our anniversary.
I was told via telephone at the time of purchase to simply schedule the trip here at home in a resort in Orlando and when I got ready for the anniversary vacation I would be able to pick any resort nationwide and simply change reservations.
When I called in today to do just that I was told that I could only pick from a very short list because I was a Florida resident and only eligible for a few locations.
In other words I was lied to just to sell the package. Now they refuse to refund the money and they refuse to honor the terms of sale as was told to me.
I talked to a supervisor named Jennifer Walls who would not even consider a refund, it was a case of take it or leave it and you are not getting your money back.
