Eighty nine people purchased a lifetime vacation plan from Fairfield, which was purchased by Wyndham. Fairfield salespeople sold the plan, all documents, contracts, & books were Fairfield.
I purchased my points in 1998 for $12,900.00 for which I received 154,000 points, that were supposed to give us a lifetime of vacations with Fairfield (Wyndham) & upon death the points would be passed to our children. After retireing in 2003 I purchased an additional 154,000 points to enhance our travel plans when my wife retires.
In January of this year I/WE received a letter from Wyndham stating we no longer had our points at Osage National Resort as Wyndham dropped their affiliation with the resort.
I have spoken with Wyndham representives on several occasions just asking them to transfer my points to Fla. Where I purchased the additional 154,000 points, or give me credit of 12,900.00 (my original investment) to purchase the points in Fla. Wyndham refused both requests & stated you lost your points.
I would not have purchased the original points if Fairfield would have said give us 12,900.00 dollars & in a few years we will take your points, your money & run. Nor would I have purchased the additional points for our retirement. Wyndham was paid for the points but refuse to give them back to us. Do not buy Wyndham!!!
