WE were promised a 600 dollar vacation package at a resort. All I had to do was pay $150.00 and agree to attend a time-share presentation. I bought this package over a year ago, and they were calling me furiously over the last few months. I finally agreed to the presentation when they offered me a $100 visa card if I signed up for a presentation, which I did. This cost me an additional $50, which would be immidiately refunded to me when I arrived. I was assured that the hotel was a four star resort with all of the ammenities and services.
When we arrived, we learned what we got ourselves into... We arrived the welcoming center and were asstonished at where we would stay... However, this is not where we stay. We stay off-site at a cheap $50 a night hotel. Yup, I paid for the hotel with my $150, which did not include taxes... When I cancelled the time-share, they revoked the visa card, kept my initial $50 and charged me a cancellation fee of $50. All total, I spent $300 and no hotel. They will not refund my money...
