In June of this year I cancelled my tickets with American Airlines. I was told that the fare would be credited the next time I purchased tickets. Well this month I went to purchase tickets thinking that I had these credits. Come to find out they cancelled my daughters ticket as requested but not my goddaughters? When I question the reservation agent and requested a manager they refused to speak with me saying that I had to email the relations department. BS! I want someone to talk to.
I sent an email twice and no response.
Last year. I had a ticket for my goddaughter I had called the night before to see if it everything was good to go. When I got to the airport they told me it was cancelled. I had to pay another $100 to get a standby ticket in which it was so late that we missed our original flight, the standby flight was delayed by 4 hours. I was not given any type of consideration for the cancellation of ticket or refund.
This airline may be cheap but I have found another airline to fly that is just as cheap, but alot friendlier.
