We booked an international flight 2 weeks ago for a fare of $463.68 We were given a confirmation number and were told a ticket would be issued. 5 days before the flight we called to say we had no ticket. Cheapoair said the flight had been cancelled, but not to worry, they would book us another flight at the same price.
One hour and 45 minutes later, we were given an American Airlines reservation number.
The next day we recevied a call from Cheapoair saying our flight had been cancelled. We called and 45 minutes later were told that our flight was re-booked at the same price of $463.68. The next day (the day before the flight leaves) we recevied another call from Cheapoair saying the flight had been cancelled and the price was now $400 more.
I called American Airlines and they informed me that Cheapoair cancelled the booked flight minutes after they had reserved the flight for us. American Airlines had no explanation as to why Cheapoair had cancelled our reservation. Now I can book through American Airlines directly for $50 cheaper than Cheapoair. This company is a big Rip off!
