Timeshare Marketing Scam Ongoing for Years

As a long-time contract holder with Resorts International Marketing Corp., I'm surprised so many other people have continued to fall for their ongoing scam - especially with the birth of web sites such as consumer complaints.in the past 4 years, I've not found a single "legitimate" person who has been happy with the performance of this company... Or who has actually even received an honest response! The positive posts that have been seen from time to time RE: this company have usually been proven to be posted by employees or advocates.

Put simply, www.vacationweeks.com does not rent vacation weeks. Over the past 4 years, I have had 23 different people request rental information for specific resorts and specific weeks - and some even requested general 3 month time frames for any sized unit. Not a single one of these inquiring potential customers has ever received a response from this company! If and when they attempted to call the RIMC phone number, they were routed back to the web site for reservation purposes. Again, as before, there was no response to their request.

My many attempts (at least 4 per year) to gain the attention and performance of this company's "rental experts" and "customer service" personnel has met with nothing but ONE response... And that was a repeated empty promise of "moving me to the top of the list." I suppose that's the list of people who complain the most, because there was still no response to any of the assorted reservation requests I had my colleagues submit from all over the world.

I've requested a refund. I've reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I've had my attorney draft a letter to them. They are quite bold in their refusal to respond to ANY attempt to contact or pursue them. I've posted on other scam sites. I've warned THOUSANDS of people through posting on Frommers, RCI, Trip Advisor, etc, etc etc.

My biggest concern is the fact that there seems to be no way to get this company fined, prosecuted, closed, or burned to the ground. It amazes me that they can continue to function as a business when so many consumers have reported them for failing to meet the contracted efforts! If a class action lawsuit is the only way to make something happen, then someone should perhaps consider this route.
