All we went through with Hurricane Katrine and losing everything due to flood (NO INSURANCE). This trip was a planned and saved vacation for the family. Which ended up as a RIPOFF?
ON June 12, I got a personalized quote for $2714.64, including airfare. Attempts to process over the internet failed. That's when i contacted a rep. Lisa Perez through Sunfinder Vacations, whom from this point assisted me with my vacation, including asking questions about the all inclusive package.
Needless to say this long story i'll try to shorten:
Transporation included high speed driving, which almost killed all 8 passengers. Driver fell asleep at the wheel.
Hotel accomadations, HA! Room wasn't ready on time (3RD FLOOR HUT) only one key given (2 ADULTS), bed request wasn't made, towels limited (ADULTS & 2 KIDS), porn movies shown.
Meal/Bevarage (ALL?), Price for a 7-UP $1.00. All beverages, which include fruit punch (PURSCHASE AT LOCAL STORE), or frozen slush was given in a 6 OZ. Plastic cup (HAVE A PICTURE), no
water available to drink, no snacks, no buffet style meals.
When a suggestion was made to an employee another employee approached from the kitchen with a butchers knife.
Meals had to be ordered which was not appertizing. Morning juice was served in a 4 OZ glass and other people had bigger juice glasses.
Service: ROOM SERVICE was poor. The maid just swept the floors and took out the towels (BORROWED OR GIVEN TO THE HOTEL). Request more towels for the room and was told they weren't anymore.
Bed linen was not CHANGED AT ALL! Every Jamaican had attitudes as well as being rude.
Hotel Manager didn't give a RAT'S what happen all he did was talk with his staff and nothing was every taken care of. Plus the hotel staff talked in their dialect-no understand.
Sunfinder Agent, Randy was contacted for me to understand I was staying in a 2 star hotel, to change to another the price would be $500/$700.
The first price given to return home (REQUESTED ON 6-27-06), WAS $780, $500, $400, ended up paying $133. It wasn't until talking with Randy I discovered that there was another agent which is called GOGO.
Whom stated, through Randy a refund of one nights stay would be refunded.
So many words can't express the joy of being in the "U.S.A."
Spoke with a natvie Jamaican, USA business owner, and was told that we were lucky to have kept our mouth closed about the bad experience, because we would have been killed for a $1.00.
Therefore, I'm entitled to a full REFUND or an all expense PAID VACATION!!!
Because i didn't due business with gogo, my business was with sunfinders vacation.
