I've had this trip for 2 years. The first paid in full trip (796.00) includes 3 days in Fort Lauderdale and I upgraded for 99.00 for the beach view hotel, 2 day cruise and I also upgraded for a room above verses below for 99.00,2 days in Orlando, 100.00 gas voucher because we rented our own car and meals. That's my 1st reservation totaling 996.00 for 2 adults, and i paid 79.00 additional for my 18 month old daughter.
Ok so i figure i have to take this trip i might as well make it a family trip. I call the reservation line to get another reservation to include 2 more adults and 2 children.
What i got another package for totaling 854.00. That included 2 adults and 2 kids, 100.00 gas voucher because we renting our own car and 2 free Disney tickets, all meals Now that's around 2000.00 for 7 people, not including hotel taxes and gratuity. The agent i was dealing with name is Karen and she was extremely helpful. She gave me her extension, and her supervisor's name and extension. I called to get some extra information about the port fees and got another representative. I requested she transfer me to Karen and she told me she would help me because Karen was busy on another call. This rep (I can't recall her name) had me all confused.
Once I started demanding a refund she quickly put me on hold and got Karen on the line. Karen went over everything with me. She went an extra mile and told me to call her personal cell phone when i needed her and she would call me back she also put her supervisor on the line to confirm everything she was telling me. My question was answered and everything was confirmed. My next dilemma was the beach hotel. The only way we would be able to stay in the same hotel if I upgraded for and additional 99.00 well 2000.00 was my limit. So the supervisor (Harry) told me he would try and get us in the same hotel but we would forfeit our meals. That's no big deal.
I am schedule to take my trip 4/5/08-4/12/08 and I felt I should post my experience with Ramada to date. After my trip I will post my experience in full. I am hoping and praying that I do not have all bad things to say. This will be the 1st trip to Florida for 3 kids and hope and pray they have all great things to say.
