I recently signed up for the same deal where for 3.95 you get 1000.00 in an online shopping spree. I figured it was not a big risk because I was told I could call and cancel within 10 days of recieving the information in the mail. After 1 week I still didnt get anything in the mail so I started calling, 5-10 times a day only to stay on hold for 10-20 minuets. 2 weeks after the first call I finally got the information and was finally able to get through being on hold. The lady told me that my 10 days was up and I had already been charged...
I tried to explain that I had only gotten the papers 4 days ago and I wanted my money back. She told me that she had no records of me trying to cancel any earlier that she could not do a refund. Well of coarse she has no records, I could never get past the lame hold music. I decided to get up extra early this morning before work and call until I got ahold of somebody. After 30 minuets I got through, gave them my information and they hung up on me twice. I called back, got in after 10 minuets and as soon as he picked up the phone, he hung up on me.
I checked my bank account this morning and technically I have not been billed yet, there is not even a pending charge... Has anybody else had luck?
