I have to honestly say Princess Cruises is the most insensitive company I have every dealt with. I had cruies two previous times with Princess and had a fantastic time. I had booked a third cruise on Princess for Jan 8th from Ft Lauderdale down to to the caribian. Well as fate would have it my Father passed away four days before the cruise.
I called them and explained my sitution. I was told that there was nothing they could do and I was out of all the money becasue I did not take the insurance when I booked it. I once again explained my sitution with no success. Needless to say I was very upset.
Last week my girlfriend decided to go to alaska next summer and i started to look at cruise lines. I called Princess because with three cruises under my belt I would be eleigable for discounts. I was told becasue I phycially did not go on the cruise in January that it was not counted as a cruise even though it was paid in full. I flipped on the phone. I told the person on the phone not only did they keep my full payment but now they woun't give me credit for the cruise.
TOTAL RIPP OFF
Well we booked with another cruise line not associated with the Carnival clan of companys including Princess. We have 14 people going on the cruise next summer. You can bet I will tell my Princess experience to everyone I meet on the cruise. HEY PRINCESS not every sitution is BLACK & WHITE. It's called thinking outside the box.
