First I wish to thank the other guy for telling his story about Expedia giving his credit card number to WLI Reservation Rewards, because I was not too certain how this outfit got their hands on my card number. My story is the following...
I found yet another charge on my card from WLI Res Rwds and called my credit card co. They played dumb about it yesterday. Tonight I did a search on them and found the RIP OFF report mentioned.
I took that info and called Bank and told them about what happened AND usacomplaints.com. They got WLI on the phone who said Priceline.com offered me free stuff after I booked a hotel through them, that I clicked on it and got my membership.
After telling the WLI rep I never authorized anyone to charge my card $9 per month membership fee, he promptly (3-5 days) refunded my 6 months of charges and said nothing shady was going on.
Bank now admits they've had numerous complaints about WLI. Too bad they didn't admit to that yesterday when I called!
