Hi from Canada, wow, it is amazing to hear so many stories exactly the same with ALL SEASONS TRAVEL. Mine started at a Wedding Fair on January 9, where I entered to "WIN" a trip to the Bahamas. This was one of their 3 Grand Prizes. No, I guess I did not read the back fine print (in Font 6) to read that I will be contacted at home.
On the evening of January 11 I was called at home to let me know that have qualified for an 18 day 17 nights trip to the Bahamas. I specifically asked if I had "won" a trip and said, "Yes, you have been selected! Isn't that great?"
I thought this is a scam. But after an hour... Like the others I gave them my credit card number. $695usd ($890Cnd) and because I am signing up for this offer early I also get a trip to PV Mexico for 5 nights. Most of the trip is now for 4 people too!
To the point. They don't tell you that you have to pay all hotel taxes!!! So when you go to these places you have to pay out of your pocket once you get there.
I called them back on January 12 claiming that I did not understand that it was USD "due to my excitement of having this great opportunity"... So they played back the tape and yes, of course they had said it 3 times.
I complained a bit more b/c I really wanted to cancel and after one lady "spoke to the manager" they offered for me to keep the package for CND$695!! That they would credit our account for $200USD if we were to keep it. What they would go to for us to buy that package! I said that this whole things has left a very bad taste in my mouth and yes, I would still like to cancel.
Currently they have said yes to ferunding me in full. Or course, it takes 10 minutes for the charge to show up on my credit card and 10 DAYS to refund. Wish me luck.
