We flew from LAX to JFK direct (round trip) and was very disappointed with United. We paid for economy comfort and on these flights not a snack was served during the 5-6 hour flights. Soft drinks was offered along with a small selection of snacks to purchase, but not even cookies, nuts etc was offered. Twice during the flight we were offered water, They did not charge for the water! The "entertainment" system was extremely poor and the movies were awful. United must have gotten a deal on the movies because no one in the cabin was watching the selection. United has found the secret to making profits. Offer NOTHING to the passenger because the bottom line is... The passenger deserves only a seat and a ride to their destination and no amenities during the trip. Fly another airline if you could!!
