I booked a round trip international flight on Orbitz.com on Th. 8/29 to attend a friend's wedding in Cancun, Mexico. On Friday, 8/30 I traveled from LAX to Cancun. Upon checking into an all-inclusive resort my credit card was declined. My credit card company informed me that I was billed $586.72 twice by Orbitz.com maxing out my credit card. I spent nearly $500 in cell roaming charges to get the problem resolved. Since I couldn't check out of the hotel until I could pay the bill I missed my flight and was told by Orbitz.com that I would have to purchase a new ticket for my return which cost me an additional $335. Orbitz.com has not taken any responsibility I do not have the time or energy to spend another second on the phone with their customer service department, although nice I had to speak with at least 10 people to help me resolve my issue. Do yourself a favor and stay far away as it may seem like a good deal but on Orbitz.com it will definitely turn out to be "Too good to be true" Lastly, the never emailed any confirmation or flight details so I still don't have any tracking infomation.
