How to get home? - flights

Round Trip booked and confirmed by Orbitz through Continental Airlines for 12-15-11 thru 12-19-11.

Trip down was good. Trip back on 12-19-11 started with a 2 hour phone conversation w / Orbitz rep ending up with a changed flight w/o notice and being booked on a redesignated flight.

Went to airport to find out that the "rescheduled" flight from Orbitz rep had us on an overbooked flight through Continental Airways. A helpful airline rep at the airport said there would be no way that we would have been accepted on that flight. She took 15 mins. To gets us booked on an American flight out of Kew West and we arrived home 6 hrs. Sooner that explained by the Orbitz rep originally.

Being lied to and left hanging at the airport was bad enough by Orbitz, but not taking 15 mins. To check w / another

Airline to eliminate the problem is unexcuseable!

Poor public relations!
