After I checked in at the front desk, i went to my room and discovered that the bottom safety lock did not work. I called the front desk and was told that she would come up and check. I have not heard from her to date. The next morning I advised the day clerk what happened, the door lock was then fixed. It's very upsetting to be dismissed when you are paying for a service. Item number 3 in your safety procedures states, "close the door securely whenever you are in your room and use all of the locking devices provided". I guess Ms. Arratig was not aware of this safety procedure.
