I booked a package to San Antonio, and had to cancel within 24 hours due to change of meetings.
1. I was placed from one department to another over 3 different calls and 4 hours till the 24 hour window passed; then they refused to endorse my refund of the airline otr the hotel. This was plain criminal!!!
2. When I did more research, I found that the package price was the SAME as the price that i would have paid if I had booked directly with the hotel and airline. I would not have to deal with their attitude
3. I have now spent over 4 hours being on hold with orbitz, and they had the nerve to tell me that they are doing me a favor despite charging me a $25 cancellation fee despite me calling within 24 hours to cancel
Stay away from orbitz! It is a scam!!
