I booked a cabana at MGM hotel in Las Vegas through Orbitz. Upon arrival, I was sent to a standard room on the 15th floor. I advised MGM management that I purchased a cabana through Orbitz. MGM's records showed that Orbitz booked me the standard room. I called Orbitz customer service. I was told that MGM was to blame, not Orbitz. Orbitz was clearly at fault, yet they denied any wrong doing. Orbitz refused to refund my money, and all they would offer was a very phoney apology. Fortunately, there are other companies with better reputations that I can choose from.
