I booked hotel reservations for disney world on expedia.com. There was an offer to save $125.00 on my booking if I applied for the expedia citi credit card even though the annual fee is $75.00. So I did just that. I was approved but had to wait 10 days for the credit card to arrive. So I used another credit card at that time. When I received the citi credit card, I called expedia to give them the card number. I was told that they could not do that unless they cancelled my old reservation and made a new one. However, the rep went on to explain that it could cost me more for the new reservation. Tipically, when I book reservations on line, I'm not required to pay until I arrive at the hotel. I feel like this was a scam.
