I began an attempt to downsize my cell phone plan ten days ago. AT&T made every conceivable attempt to prevent me from making the change. My contract was up and so this was not an issue. Beware of the 2 hours of waiting and being transferred up to 4 times, only to be told their computers are down, they are unable to transfer your number at this time, or you just get cut off. After a total of more than 8 hours of lost time mostly waiting on hold, I prevailed!
