Came across this website searching for stand up surf boards. Found a familiar used model board on their webpage I was interested in, but noticed they only had a stock photo. I called to request some actual photos and spoke to the owner, Michael Phillips, who said "no problem". This of course took an additional phone call and several hours, but I eventually received a couple photos of the used board and despite what looked like visisble damage the assurance that all the marks were superficial and would wipe off. I said I would take it and asked if they had any deals on paddles as I could give them additional business. Again, a paddle was mentioned and pictures were requested by me. It took several more phone calls and nothing was ever received. Finally I called these idiots back and Michael tells me this paddle was sold. He didnt even give me the right of first refusal or a courtesy call. Upset about this I said, well I hope you havent sold the board out from under me too? I was assured it hadnt been sold and not trusting their terrible service and track record, I immediately put my order through, sent a text to notify them of payment, AND even emailed Michael directly with the receipt thanking him for his assistance and asking when it would ship.
A day goes by, I hear nothing. I email them for an update, day two goes by, nothing, no response. I call and leave a message, nothing. Finally on the fourth day I call and ask whats going on. Michael says they have sold the board I ordered and paid for. I ask him how could that be? He said someone in the shop liked it so he offloaded it, AFTER I HAD PAID FOR IT! Unbelieavable what some will do for money.
Im writing this so no one else will have to waste their time with this inferior company, or their money for inferior customer service and product. The people running www.suppaddleboard.com are a bunch of hicks concerned for their bottom line. Go somewhere reputable and avoid the lies and hassle.
