I am an agency-signed model, always looking to sign with new, up-and-coming agents or management companies.
I found Vault Model & Artist Management online and decided to submit photos for review.
Michael Fox, the owner of Vault Model & Artist Management called me to let me know he was intersted in representing me. He sent me a contract to review. I noticed that a stipulation of signing the contract was a fee to place my photos on his site. I called him and left a message inquiring about this. He said he would waive it for me. So I signed the contract.
A few days later my photos were on the site but he never updated my stats. When I checked back a few months later, I noticed my photos were no longer there.
I contacted Michael Fox asking why I had been removed when my contract was still in force, and he did not respond. I contacted him three more times with no response.
This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. When you have a mutually signed agreement with a company, they should honor that agreement and at the very least, respond to your inquiry.
I would NOT advise anyone to deal with Michael Fox and Vault Model & Artist Management.
