A 25 foot boat was purchased through Westchester Yacht Sales who acted as a broker for a LI man named Matt Vastola (see his rip off report). The boat came with a trailer, am/fm radio/cd player with Helm remote and other features. Radio was not with boat at the time but was to be sent to us. BOTH broker and seller knew this. Radio to date has not been received!
We have been told that the trailer that the boat sits on is TOO SMALL for our 25 ft boat and is NOT SAFE for transporting let alone launching. The Mfg of of Load-Rite/5 Starr Trailers was contacted and pictures of all our concerns of the trailer were sent to them and their response was that the trailer we have is for a max. 23 ft boat, the eye on the bow should be level with the winch-NOT ABOVE the winch as it stands with our boat, the overhang of the boat from the rear rollers on the trailer should be 6-8 inches from the transom and ours is at least 18 to 24" which puts too much stress on the hull and finally they stated that the axels are OVERLOADED!
Westchester Yacht says they want nothing more to do with this situation that I signed all the paperwork accepting the boat! Well yes I did sign the paperwork.
