A few weeks ago a Volunteer while spraying for weeds (a improperly mixed liquid 2X the amount with 1/2 the amount of water) after 2 days of spraying without any respirator suffered lung damage and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Now 2 weeks later and over $4,000.00 in bills, he still has not received the proper workers comp. Form from Management.
Instead they keep saying he was not an employee, he was a volunteer and therefore he in not covered by workers comp insurance. Sounds like a great time to see an Attorney.
And all this in a 5 star Resort?
