Luis Acosta got hurt on the job over four years ago and still claims he needs workers comp. They closed the first case and then he "pulls" something in his back and can't work for two weeks yet this guy is out working on cars, moving into a new home etc.
The state of Florida seems not to care about Workers Comp Fraud. A few of the fellows we work with caught on to his scam and reported him but they do nothing. Now his new case is open and everytime he does not feel like working his "back" or neck gets "pulled" and he needs two-three weeks off.
