I purchased a set of golf clubs from Par Valu golf in April of 1999. The enticement was having a shaft that had a lifetime warranty (by the way, I have broke 3 of their shafts). Meanwhile, the clubs that were sent me were not what I had requested. When I sent my clubs back to get them replaced, I didn't get a refund or a new set back (out $2130). Meanwhile, none of my calls requesting refund were returned.
However, 9 months later, I received a set with my same old dimensions back. I have kept those, but am still out alot of money. I have filed a report with the Consumer Affairs office in Sacramento and the Attorney General's Office of California, but thus far nothing has been done.
One last item, I have tried to call numerous times (now their phone # is out of business), and they were still doing business at least one year later. I got this information from a shipping clerk who I accessed through the voice mail system.
Lost in Minnesota, help if you can.
