I visited 24 hour fitness on 09/04/08 to recieve details about a gym account.
Upon recieving that details it was assumed identification be purchasing the membership that evening, that we had no intention to do when i didnt have the cash.
I had been encouraged to go away a little deposit to begin the membership and informed that i'd have 5 business days to cancel this membership for a reimbursement. I published a $25 examine and gave the supervisor (amanda kukuk) authorization to deduct the dues and the remainder of the costs ($130.12) easily dedcided to keep the account.
Because of the proven fact that i registered for that membership about the 4th i thought (and was never told something various) that my 1st day of the 5 times would start these time. I delivered to the 11th, which may have been the 5th business-day, to cancel. I had been informed that our 5 times where not business-day but actually 5 times and so i wasnt eligible for a refund of $25. I approved that and made it clear that i'd not be charged for that enrollment or any fees.
That proved to be false. I had been billed 130.13 on 9/26/08 to get a account that i never used and cancelled with-in 5 business days.
Based on customer service i had been right in my thinking but 24-hour exercise views sunday to become a business day-so i had been one day late. That i understand should have been revealed tome from day one.
After talking to amanda kukuk it had been the worst customer support experience ever. Clearly i didnt read every inch of the fineprint (as well as the 5 business-day term didnt condition saturday was a company time) however the proven fact that i was working with the club manager i'd thought i'd be finding straightforward support.
These are the problems.
1. I just needed information and just waking up and walking on her was the only path i had been going to be able to say no without having being to rude.

2.5 business days? Within the state of california 5 business days means mon-friday. Amandas reaction was that i thought incorrect and signed the contract and there is nothing else i really could look foward to recieving.

3. At the moment i'm unemployed. I prepare every penny and my health is an issue and that's why i needed to have the membership within my new town. I'm today out $130.00 to get a account i never applied, actually returned to cancel on which i thought to be the 5th day and am today treated such as a rude unaware person for convinced that there are honest good hearted people.
Amanda kukuk-team manager:
-deceive me like a client.
-treated me without any regard, empathy or pride.
-gave me the rudest support, by having an problem she helped to produce, identification actually recieved in my life.
-destroyed 24 hour exercise' picture within my brain, and that i will make sure to tell everyone of my experience together.
I dont understand what distributing this complaint can do but i'm very upset by this therapy. The attitude of the supervisor to some customr who's only being honest and sincere must only at the very least be the exact same. Impolite, condicending, disrespectful, shady conduct should only be exhibited by unaware people, not individuals with any quantity of strength... Or does which means that they provide capacity to ignorant people?
I spoke to anyone who had been very type, the membership director ellie. Just after talking to her did i receive a phone from amanda having a complete additional perspective trying to partly correct the issue. Which again was her decision. She still selected to not refund the full amount. Only a part.
