On 12/27/06 we went to the mall and found Narbeh's girl friend selling basket ball memorabilia made by Upper Dec. We wanted a 30 by 40 authograph picture of Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson for our 15 year old sons birthday. She told us that they can order it however, we had to put a down payment.
We paid her with our visa card and I have the receipt. A month passed and we called no one answered the phone and they did not have voice mail. My husband called again and got Narbeh who told him the reason why we did not hear from him was because he did not have our phone number.
The number was given to his girl friend by my husband when we made the payment. He promised to call back as he claimed that Magic Johnson had signed however, they were still waiting to meet with Michael Jordan for his signature.
Narbeh claimed that he was an agent for Upper Deck and his business cards has him with Jordan and other athletes. A couple weeks later I called Upper and asked them if they had such picture.
The rep told me that those pictures were limited edition and were no longer made. I do not know who is lying but Upper Dec denies ever knowing South Coast Collectibles or Narbeh Yerumian. The Upper Dec rep was pretty rude to me on the phone when I explained the situation to him.
Narbeh has several different addresses and his phone numbers 818-807-4397/714-593-8720 has both been turned off. I can guarantee that this scum bag is still setting up shops in malls taking peoples money and run.
He will con the wrong person pretty soon.
