I work for Body Of Change as an Assistant Manager. I am stunned by what I have experienced and read. Of course I can lose my job by writing this. They tell people they can cancel their contract if they pay half the funds to buy out of there contract however I am now reading that people aren't getting their monies. The prices are outrages. I have sold some memberships being new and naive. They dont have enough trainers. Everyone is encouraged to be an assistant manager which is a glorified title salesperson. The cost is 59 per session for three months, 49 for six months and 39 for 12 months. Most people get a better deal choosing the 12 month deal as they pay 39 per session however I have witnessed numerous times when the trainers arent around to train the clients. It is horrible. These people are paying lets say for example 39x8 sessions per month which is two times per week. They are lucky to get a trainer for the two times per week. I requested to be just a simple trainer and not sell as I see the weakness is they need trainers that care. The district manager pressured me essentially to staying in sales. So I am stuck.in order to make money I have to sell 10,000 in sales for two weeks time. Then I get 1,000 bonus plus minimum wage. You dont make a lot. That is a lot to sale. If you sale 20k you get 2k plus your minimum wage for two weeks. If you sell 30k in two weeks you get 3k plus your minimum wage. No one has ever sold 20k in two weeks. You are lucky to hit ten thousand. I was off by three hundred and I lost my bonus. What is so shady about this company is I hit ten thousand and the manager of Body of Change gave one of my deals to his buddy who wasn't selling so he would make his bonus. I got screwed. It is who they like better. The manager plays with the numbers. The company is a scam. I hope people aren't dumb enough to join. They would be better off paying me 10-15 dollars under the table and let me train them for one hour. They would save money and feel great. Plus if they don't use a session they don't have to pay for it. No contracts. Nothing. I will lose my job but I have to speak the truth.
