When I got the phone call to take my free training session (that comes with my gym membership) I told the manager that I was broke and in college. I already had a debt. He said, "Take advantage of it! It's free!"
I went in for my session and was convinced of how much weight I could lose and how fast. I said that I could not afford it. I needed new tires and my car fixed. I was living with my mom for god's sake. The guy said "You'll pay 150 dollars a month for new tires but not for you to lose weight?" Thanks, let me hear that I need to lose weight from one more person.
So, I agreed with that... And signed up. I signed an electronic device - never seeing my contract. I was told that my sessions would be twice a week for an hour each time. My boss ended up signing up for the program 2 days after me. When she got home she read over her contract and flipped out.
It says in the contract if you become DECEASED your estate will pay the remainder of the contract or part of it. What kind of company does that? When she told me this I was like "What contract?" I never got a copy of my contract!
So - here's the low down: I finally got a copy of my contract after a month in the program. My boss is a Christian and got out of the contract within the 2 day period. I am a christian too but I missed the 2 day period. My sessions were twice a week 30 minutes each. My 1st trainer missed a lot of sessions... And Body of Change DOES NOT HAVE A TRAINER FILL IN. You just miss the session! And it's up to the trainer to say why so sometimes you pay for the session if he doesn't take care of the paperwork.
ALSO... THEY changed my trainer on me 3 times. TODAY, I recieved an email saying that my current trainer (who took a 2 week vacation this month which put me out of training for 2 weeks) is QUITTING!!!
AND&to top it all off&I'm stuck with this disaster for a FULL YEAR!!! When all I wanted to sign up for was half a year... The sly salesman DID NOT give me a contract so he signed me up for a full year instead of a half a year (which made my monthly payments only like 150 instead of 250). That SOB.
All I can say about this company is this—whatever you do—the worst thing you can do is sign up for Body Of Change... TO get out of this training I have to pay half of my remaining months. That's a crap load of money for a college student who IS STILL OVERWEIGHT. I havn't lost a pound or seen a damn body of change since I joined the program. I hope your company rots and melts into the ground Body of Change. Do onto others as they do onto you has never been truer in this case.
