Rudy McCloud contacted our company stating he was a roofing leads telemarketer. After some review we sent in $1500 for leads in the DFW area. I was told that we only needed to provide him with an address or area for them to start getting leads. We just had a hail storm a few months prior so I sent him three specific areas to start calling. He emailed a few days later and stated all of those areas were no good and they couldn't set appointments there. This sort of defeated the whole purpose but I had already paid so I had provided him with a couple of areas that may or may not have some damage. We started receiving leads shortly after. I reported a couple of issues to Rudolph McCoud about things that the homeowners were being told from the telemarketers and to please ask them not to tell them things like "We are building roofs now in the neighborhood" because it wasn't true. I also had several leads that were no shows and I emailed Rudy about 2 of them that we tried to reach for a few days and asked him to credit them. He stated we had a 24 hr window and he wasn't going to credit them. I asked him to call the home owners to verify they weren't there for the appointment. He said "too bad". I then told him to finish with my leads because I wasn't going to deal with a business that treated their customers like this. The final straw was when we showed up at a homeowners house and she stated that the telemarketer told her we could cover her deductible b/c she said she didn't have money to cover it. I immediately reported it to Rudy and he stated "my people don't say that and I've listened to the recording". I asked him to send me a copy or let me hear the recording because this could cause legal issues. He then stated that whatever the telemarketer said was "irrelevant" because the lead was there and he wasn't crediting it. I told him I wasn't looking or asking for a credit but that he needs to look into this serious issue. He then emailed back and said "Please stop texting me. You have your leads so goodbye. I don't like you at all. You have been an asshole from the start. You deserve your life." Who even says that to customers? I have ALL email correspondence and not once was I unpleasant or rude. I just want what I paid for. Out of 30 leads (he still owes 4 which I doubt I will see) ZERO have turned into anything. Rudy is obnoxious and just a poor disposition. Beware of hiring him. He can't accept credit cards, runs this business from his home, doesn't have a website or business phone besides his cell phone.
