Costs you more money& screwed me over
MY complaint starts here, back in feb2012 i started getting calls about saving money on my power bills. Well needless to say by april they caught my husband at home talked him in to saving money, when i can home he asked me talk with these people because they needed the person on the power bill told me it would cost me less every month. I chose to agree over the phone that i get my kw from them an still get to keep my same power company wich is ameren illinois power. May 1st marks the day my so called contract i agreed to over the phone wich only took 15 mins wich i'll get to that later, as of May 2012 i've paid almost double my regular bill wich runs no high than 220 a month my bills some times reached 400 between now an then. I called ameren at first to complain but the gave me a number directly to liberty wich proceeded to tell my i was using double the kw than usuall, wich is crap between may an june i never changed an normal things in my house hold that has been the same for over a yr. When the end of june came around i turned on the central air wich was broke down three times this yr over the hottest parts of june, july&august. My air was out for serveral days an one time a week. So how was i charged 380 for one month??? It was my regular bill plus 172.00 worth of service charges from liberty??? So i called them once more to remove them off my bill they said i'm in a binding contract that states the cant get them off my account an if i tried i would be liable to pay a pentaly each month til the contracts over! This is crap people taking atvantage of family's that cant afford it so i do hope this e-mail makes a differnce. Thanks tina granite city illinois
