Hired s.C. Polebarns to build us a custom pole barn. Had contract written up paid them $500.00 dollar deposit to get materials ordered and on schedule for construction within 3 weeks. Supossed delay after delay we were finally ready for construction to start 3 months later.
They brought materials out to start construction at which point we were supposed to give 75% of the contract money after delivery of materials, materials delivered were not what they were supposed to be. Confronted james carver who acted surprised but really was not. He intern called his partner who said he would get right on it. Was told it would take another 6 to 7 weeks to get the correct material to work on the barn, but that the material there would be just fine. I told them that is not the material I am paying for and that I would wait. They did not like that.
It is now 8 weeks later and many unreturned phone calls later James Carver informed me that he will not be back to finish my barn. I have since hired an attorney to take my case and also another construction company to finish the barn.
