Circuit City Incident number IM54702. Chris, the new store manager in Grandville refused to accept the return for replacement or store credit of a Sony camcorder that was an open box purchase. I brought the camdorder back within a couple weeks after it was purchased and complained that the audio playback was cutting in and out.
Instead of accepting the return, the store sold me a tape head cleaning and convinced me that was the propblem. The camcorder did seem to work ok, but the problem returned. When I returned the camcorder again, the store manager refused to accept it, even though I had the receipt, because it was beyoned the 14 no questions asked return policy.
