On 21 March we purchased a blood glucose meter fro the Wall-Mart store located in Belvidere, IL. This meter did not work. Upon attempting to return the meter I was told by store employees that is was their policy not to accept returns of this type and my only option was to return the meter to the manufacturer.
I placed a telephone call to the District Manager and was advised I would be contacted by the store manager within 15 min. No contact was made.
I asked store employees for something in writing stating their company position and was refused. It should be noted there is no mention on their posted return policy which prohibits this type of return nor is it posted anywhere in the store or on the sales receipt.
