I purchased a $99 Groupon Coupon which states on the Groupon site the following when you purchase it "$99 for carpet cleaning of a two-story home with up to 2,500 square feet of carpet (a $530 value) During 1.5- to 3-hour appointments, the certified cleaners remove stains, odors, and allergens from carpets using steam-cleaning techniques.".
When the technician came by to do the appointment, he said it would cost an additional $45 to treat a couple of stains in the family room, and the stairs. I showed him what the website states (above), so he ran and called the owner Jeff. I spoke with Jeff's answering service girl / Sarah, was her name I believe. Even though that's False Advertising to state what's stated above to get you to purchase the groupon, Jeff told Saran and the technician that he would stick by the statement on the actual printed voucher which states stains may be extra.
I cancelled the appointment.
Once again - this is false advertising. The technician claims Groupon shouldn't put that on their site. However, if that gets Thunderbolt Carpet Cleaning extra business, they should honor what's stated.
