I was looking around for competitive service providers before agreeing to renew my contract with Gaylord Security. I did not renew my contract immediatly due to schedules and timing of competing service providers, like Comcast. When I went back to Gaylord, ready to renew my service for an additonal year, they accepted my payment. Several weeks later, they called my and told me that they were not going to renew me. During the time between payment and their notification to me, I had no covereage and no notice that they were declining coverage.

I had been a Gaylord client for over 15 years previous to them choosing not to renew my account. They said it was for non-payment. However, they were very aware that I was shopping for a new system, and had not made a final decision. I am going direct with ADT now, which I highly recommend.
