BC-Alberta Movers have been a nightmare from Day 1. On the day of pickup, which was very difficult to set up, the movers came without packing supplies, which we payed extra for, and damaged our property on the porch, which they did not even mention before leaving. They used our own linens and towels to cover furniture, which have now been destroyed. After signing an incomplete contract for an estimate of $3000, with a max delivery date of 24 days, we received a bill through email stating we all of a sudden owed over $7000, and that our stuff would MAYBE be there in 40 days. First off, it is against the law to go up this much on a given estimate, and the company has decided to ignore any of the mishaps, and have given us the run around, and will not let us speak to a manager. Sound shady? We Still have not received our belongings, and have been having trouble contacting the company after they hung up the phone on us multiple times, and disregarded our concerns through emails.
