The property management signed a bulk agreement with DirecTV to provide cable services.included, but not made known to the residents, was the NFL Sunday Ticket for 6 months free. All of a sudden numerous residents received bills for $32 per month for NFL Sunday Ticket. I called customer service who said that it must be fraud and my account was pirated. They transferred me to identify theft. They wanted to cancel the entire account. When the association was called, they directed me to the agent for DirecTV. The agent for DirecTV said they tried to remove it, but DirecTV itself wouldn't allow them. Everyone had to call individually. When I called back to DirecTV they would only stop future billing and said we had to pay for the past due balance.
They are ripping off people who otherwise are not going to research this and pay bills for things they didn't order or want.
