National Moving Network Progressive Van Lines
Ripoff movers no call no show worst service no guarantee delivery Miami, San Jose, Pembroke Park Florida

If you want the biggest inconvenience possible in moving, contact National Moving Network and Progressive Van Lines. They are a great team in providing the worst moving experience ever. If you like to pay something for nothing, or if you like to wait in vain, go to these guys.

The low estimates are just a trick to get you to sign on. Once they have your deposit, you are screwed because no matter how long they delay the pickup, you cannot get your $500 back. Once they have your stuff, you are again at their mercy and they use all sorts of excuses to delay and tack on extra costs.

National Moving Network (NMN) gives a "reasonable" quote for cross-country moves, but you end up paying in frustration, extra hidden costs, and missed work. David Lamondin was reassuring on the phone in order to get my credit card number and deposit money. After that, he was inaccessible.

I signed a contract for a pickup date of 8/21. As I had already moved, I had my brother meet the movers. No one called beforehand to say the movers would be delayed. My brother waited all day. No one would answer the phone at NMN. The carrier hired, Progressive Van Lines, was equally inaccessible. I left several messages at both companies, with no response.

I called NMN the next morning only to find out that my account had been transfered to Walter Sanchez in Customer Service. I couldn't even communicate with the original person I had made arrangements with. When I finally was able to talk to someone, I was told that the pickup and delivery dates were only ESTIMATIONS and NOT guaranteed.

I was told they would come later that day, they never showed up nor called. I had to track them down to find out they were running behind and would not come until the next day. So, I sent my brother back home.

The next day, they again did not show up nor call until after the scheduled time. After they finally arrived, they added on costs like $50 pack a TV and $40 to use an elevator.

The scheduled delivery date was September 1st. Today is the evening of September 16th. I still have not received my goods, and no one at either company can give me any answer except that the Dept. Of Transportation allows 30 days for delivery and they cannot tell me where my things are nor when for sure I will receive them.

These companies are the worst. No one can be reached, and if you somehow get someone to talk to you, they cannot answer anything or do anything to help. Customer service provides no service at all. Don't expect any call backs, even if you leave a clear, courteous message.
