I moved from baltimore md june 26 i hired national moving company who then sub contract to a y transport or progressive van lines moving companies which are the same company. My furniture and all my other belongings were to be in las vegas no later then july 6. I never recieved my belongings til august 24.in which half of my furniture wasnt there. Not counting the damages to the stuff they did bring. I was quoted 1905.00 for the move from national movers but when ay transport brought what little things i had left i had to pay 2500.00 or they werent going to give me my stuff that was on the truck. I have contacted the company several times but no one seems to care. They lost my 7ft sofa in not counting alot of other items. They tell you to fill out a claim form but they do nothing about it. When you do call they put you on hold forever or just hang up. This company needs to be sued by all the people they have ripped off but it is hard to find a lawyer to take these kind of cases. I feel national movers out of florida should lose their licinse has should a y transport. I think the news media should be involved. I would really like something to be done about both of these companies. If you can help please contact me. Thank you.
